Born into a family of artists and designers, I have always believed in the power of drawing, as the building block for all my work.

My current practice is firmly rooted in the tradition of observational scrutiny and investigation, through the medium of drawing and painting. I have always been enticed by the things that to some, may appear to be ordinary and therefore overlooked. It is the ‘ordinary and insignificant’ things which speak forcefully about our existence and our humanity.

Underpinning all of my art is the ongoing study of the human figure; essential and at the very core of all that I make.
