Ivanichka Paneva is one of those artists fall in love in the romantic corners of Bulgarian landscape and
architecture of the ancient capital Veliko Turnovo.

The landscapes from her born city wears unique atmosphere and color of artist deeply connected with this city,
which rich historical fortune haunt in the air, which just a few Bulgarian artists touch, studded with the God spark and inspiration.

The paintings of Ivanichka Paneva act like that we forgot the known and she shows it, as if the same but different,
transformed from her brush-that Turnovo, similar to amphitheatric d?cor of the visible, behind which there is some
secret known just by her. As if she gave us her eyes to see the known in a new way. It is a surprise how in the
landscape, interiors, flowers, still life – all time genres which repeat the reality, she overcomes this reality, destroy it, to rebuild it in a new author’s way, for the colors, tones, semitones, nuances in this painting can be talk for:

sometimes fairy colors – none expected blue, gold, green, some times – trees in brown, rusty, clay red, land yellow – the words finishing, it remains not mentioned nuances, sometimes cold gamma in unusually rich range, sometimes – hidden springing as from the landscape light, strain through the windows and grilles of the doors. Probably the gamma, tone or semitone are metaphors, came in the language from the music, to be explained the paintings like those of Ivanichka Paneva in which the color is transformed in a symphony of hues.
Birth place: She was born in 1946 in Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria. Graduated from Veliko Turnovo Univercity “St. St.
Kiril and Metodii” in 1978 – subject fine arts. In 1976 – she became a member of the Union of the Bulgarian artists.
