He is a photographer, cameraman, artist and lecturer.
Since 1999 he has been a member of the Union of the Bulgarian journalists.
Since 1991 Nedev has been working as a photographer and photo journalist at the Thracian University and since 2002 he has been working also in the Press Centre of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency in Stara Zagora.
He has been the director of photography of six documentaries : “Hristina Morfova” (2008), “Live Coals in France” (2007), “A Singer of His Life” (2006), “To Russia with Love” (2006, 2007 and 2009), “Child’s Dream about Italy” (BNT, 2006).
He has organized more than 20 solo exhibitions including an exposition with a mixed technical ways , subject “A Different View” in “Georgi Danchov Zografina” Art Gallery, Chirpan, 2010, ART KLUB VIK Gallery, Stara Zagora, 2009 and “Assen Kraishnikov” Gallery, Dimitrovgrad, 2009.
In Bulgaria his works have been shown in Sofia, Varna, Veliko Turnovo, Stara Zagora, Yambol, etc. As an artist Svetlozar Nedev has visited also many foreign countries such as Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Austria, U.K., Russia and Turkey.
Since 2008 he has been taking part in artistic projects dedicated to the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke which have been organized by the Professional union of the artists from ‘SOLO” group (Russia / Bulgaria).
Svetlozar is a member of The Russian Society of Art.
